Last Year we had to provide a Calendar for one of our Customers. Coding a smart calendar was not that easy even using Prototype.js. Our Friends @ Vorwärts did really a good Job. But now Stepen Celis provides a date range component that is really easy to use. It's based upon prototype too. There are still some Issues on IE but take a look !
